This item is an antique Dutch copper and brass bucket or pail, often used as a coal scuttle, log bin, or decorative planter. It dates from the late 19th century. The main body is made of copper, complemented by a brass rim and a brass handle. The bucket is highly decorative, featuring detailed, etched scenes typical of Dutch traditional art, including windmills and a cow in a landscape.
